More Information Updated 5/19/2020

Hello everyone! We have been so thrilled with the response for FINS, we wanted to convey some more information before enrollment opened.

FINS is a summer camp program geared towards elementary students. Environmental Education through a Montessori Philosophy is offered which looks like leisurely adventures and exploring. Our lesson plans take a hands-on approach with the child’s sense of wonder as our top priority. This camp was developed to encourage an enjoyable learning experience to ensure summer be a time of growth, development, and a chance to gain a vast general knowledge of the world surrounding us. We focus on inclusion and positive social interactions between peers and mutual respect to all. Montana offers so much just steps away. We don’t want to miss that opportunity.

Last year was our first year offering this program, and we had a blast! We went to Vigilante Campground, Park Lake, Montana Wild, Spring Meadow, Tucker Gulch, Moose Creek and hiked, fished, and explored. We focused on sustainability and ecology through observation, art, and activities. We splashed in creeks, collected aquatic insects, touched fish, climbed on rocks, and saw some awesome clouds!

This year we were expecting our Nature Story Families to return but have already been overwhelmed with interest for our program from the whole community! THANK YOU! We are going to do everything in our power to make sure we can offer this program to as many interested families as we are capable. Our preschool has been a success and is at capacity, and therefore, we will be doing some modifications to our FINS program to maintain the quality of the program and provide adequate learning space to explore.

Our FINS program will be based at a different location than our preschool on Custer. We have a great location in Montana City. Your family will have the option to drop off at our Montana City location, if it is convenient for you, or drop off at our Custer location and we will transport to our satellite location for you! Carpooling with friends is always environmentally savvy! FINS is a rather mobile program which travels on site to different public lands to explore.

We will be offering full time and part time care. Our facility hours are from 7:30 am-5:30 pm Monday through Friday. Enrollment is now open!

  • Full-time care is perfect for working families who need to know their child is taken care of by a highly qualified staff while ensuring they have not only a positive and fun summer, but an educational one, as well. Monday-Friday with drop off and pick up between 7:30 am-5:30 pm. The program will run from 9 am-3 pm. This runs $675/mo. In order to secure your spot, we require a nonrefundable deposit of $225 which will be applied to tuition. Tuition will be billed at the beginning of the month at $600/mo.

  • Part-time care is great when you need just a few days a week for your elementary student over the summer. Days must remain the same throughout the summer. Rates are dependent on how many days are needed. Contact us for more information!

  • Weekly camps are $225/week.

Here are some pictures of what we did last year to give you an idea!

If you are interested in any of the above, please fill out the interest sheet below and we can email you paperwork to ensure your registration. Thank you for your interest and we cannot wait for summer!
